Robert Barton Englund (born June 6, 1949 in Glendale, California), is an American actor.
He is probably better known for swimming Freddy Krueger in the horror film A Nightmare On Elm Street and its seven sequels. Englund likewise played Freddy around ''Wes Craven's New Nightmare (1994) and Freddy vs. Jason (2003). He received a Saturn Award nomination for Best Supporting Actor for A Nightmare In Elm Street Three: Dream Warriors (1987) and A Nightmare In Elm Street Four: The Dream Master (1988). Within 2001, he received the Life Career Award from the American Film Institute.
Since his number 1 moving-picture show, Buster & Billie (1974), he has acted in about Lxx moving picture & TV-series up to now. This includes a V'' television franchise where he gained his foremost major role when a lovably clean-handed Visitant, Willie.
